STCW Personal Safety Social Responsibilities. STCW PSSR courses are intended for personnel who are new to serving onboard ship. This is a compulsory day course for all seafarers onboard merchant vessels bounded by the STCW codes. Stand -alone course - ONLY £80.

The Basic Safety Training course comprises of 4 modules.: Personal Survival Techniques STCW A-VI/1-1. Fire Prevention Fire Fighting STCW A-VI/1-2. Elementary First Aid STCW A-VI/1-3. Personal Safety Social Responsibility STCW A-V1/1-4. Seafarers now also require Proficiency in Security Awareness STCW A-VI/6-1, which is an additional certification.
